This is something that really fascinates me.  I remember back when I was in the eight grade doing an expirement where we took an electrical charge with a positive and a negative and put it in water with a test tube attached to each lead.  Since water is H2O (that is two parts Hydrogen and one part Oxygen).  Now anyone with basic chemistry knows that Hydrogen is highly flammable or explosive, while Oxygen is not flammable, but is the oxidation that fire needs to burn.  Now based on this basic knowledge, what fuels an internal combustion engine?  Gasoline (which is flammable or explosive) and air (which uses the oxygen available in it).  So based on this basic chemistry lesson, why can't you run your car on water? 



I believe that the simple answer is this:  In the past gasoline or diesel was the way to go, so it still is they way to go.  It is hard to get people to think differently than they are used to, even engineers.  Not to mention that the huge oil companies do not want you to run your car on water.  Look at what they have to lose.  Can you imagine taking your family on vacation and only having to stop a few times and put a gallon of water in your car?  As a matter of fact you could carry a spare gallon of water with you and not worry about running out of gas.

How Hard Is It To Run Your Car On Water?

You will  need three things to make your car run on water. The first is a good step by step manual. The second one is the right parts.  The third thing you'll need is just a few hours to make it all work.

How much does it cost?  You can get a good manual for less than fifty dollars.  Now I do realize that there are many people giving away free instructions on how to convert your car to run on water, but everyone of them that I have seen are just theories and none of them have really converted a gas car to run on water.  Do the wise thing and spend a few bucks on someone that has done all of the trial and error for you.  It will save you a lot of time and money in the long run, not to mention heartache.

Next, you'll need some basic parts. Everything you need can be found at your local hardware store or through online. The parts you need will cost you more than the manual, and typically cost less than a  couple hundred bucks.

Once you have your manual and the necessary parts, you are ready to put your water fuel system together. If you have no mechanical ability whatsoever, then you might struggle, but you do not need to be a master mechanic. You'll need to do some stuff to your engine. A trained mechanic will be able to do it easily.

HOWEVER -- if you really can't do it yourself, and you're not confident with working on engines, then you can always get someone else to do it for you. There are already thousands of people that have done this. In fact, last time I checked, there were a bunch of people offering services to convert your car on CraigsList.com. You can also go down to your local mechanic and see what they can do, but personally I would find someone that works in a junkyard.  These can be some of the smartest people when it comes to doing something like this.

The technology has been around for years on being able to run a car on water, but don't just go and put water in your gas tank.  This will do nothing but get you and your car in trouble.  There is a japanese company that has perfected how to run a car on water but they sell their system for well over $18,000.  You can get the technology on how to run a car on water right here for a lot less than that and build the system for $100 or so.  When you run a car on water, what most people are actually doing is turning their car into a hybrid that can run on water and gas at the same time, thus increasing the gas mileage and performance, but they are not really running their car on water.  They are running their car on what is called Browns gas which is made by separating water into Hydrogen and Oxygen.  This is an excellent fuel.  This is how to run a car on water.
